Tongue Model

Tongue gotcha in knots? Kinks in the hyoglossus and genioglossus preventing you from free singing, and you have no idea where or what those are? Are you a visual and hands on learner? You might want to get yourself this model of the tongue.

This XIEJI Anatomical tongue model, priced at $175, clearly shows the attachments of the various muscles of the tongue, there direction of the muscles fibers, the relation to the jaw, skull, hyoid bone and larynx, and also is a pretty good model of the larynx. If you have a larger budget and want a model of both the tongue and larynx, this might be the option for you.

The jaw detaches, the tongue splits in half, as does the larynx. Everything fits together magnetically and is well painted and vibrant. The model is cast out of hard plastic, but not overly heavy and easy to move about the studio. I refer to it often- in fact, this model's nickname is "Chestburster", since it reminds me of the scary creatures from the Aliens films.

If you have a larger budget and wish to get a truly all in one model of the neck muscles, larynx, oral cavity, nasal cavity and head, stay tuned. My be-all end-all head model is coming up!
