Crowley [they/them], is a composer, singer, playwright, poet, actor, and costumer. They’ve been costuming for three years and their work includes Newsies, Murder on the Orient Express, and most recently a thousand costume piece production of Anastasia. Constantly inspired by composer Dave Malloy, their writing maintains a strange and esoteric theme. Their longest writing has been a three act folk opera, A Tale of Legacy, a trans interpretation of an old Robinhood story. Their previous works include a clown-based one act about trans for trans relationships, Grief of a Clown, as well as writing, producing, directing, and performing an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft’s Call of Cthulhu, Cold Water. They play a multitude of instruments, most prominently banjo and flute. Their dream roles include Natasha Rostova and Fedya Dolokhov from The Great Comet of 1812, The Graverobber from Repo! The Genetic Opera, Sweeney Todd from Sweeney Todd, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde from Jekyll and Hyde, Adult Alison Bechdel from Fun Home, and Frankenstein’s Creature from Frankenstein World Premiere.
