Caroline Hester is a freshman at Greely High School in Cumberland. She has been taking voice lessons since she was eight years old, and she has studied for the last four years with Mary. Caroline is a member of the Madrigals honors choir at Greely and the Portland Symphony Orchestra Children’s Chorus, which most recently performed at the “Magic of Christmas” shows at Merrill Auditorium. She took second place in the Maine NATS Musical Theatre competition this past fall, and she will be singing at the Maine All-State Festival in May.
Caroline is active in the Greely HS Drama Club, where she just performed the role of Ronnette in “Little Shop of Horrors.” She is also a member of the Musical Theater Ensemble at STAGES Youth Theater, where she is rehearsing the role of Cosette in “Les Misérables.” Some of her favorite previous roles include Ida Straus in “Titanic: The Musical,” Angélique in “The Imaginary Invalid,” and Queen Iduna/Sven the Reindeer in the Maine State Music Theatre production of “Frozen.”
