Anna has loved theater ever since she was a kid. She began performing in high school, at the age of 14, as an ensemble member in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. After finishing college, she spent some time away from the theater, and is so pleased to be back! In the intervening years she found some performance time working at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival as both an English Court dancer and a salesperson. While in graduate school in Library Science and History Anna performed in various pieces ranging from jazz to bollywood with the Colleges of the Fenway Dance Program. It wasn’t until moving back to Maine after graduate school in 2018 that Anna started auditioning again. She can often be found backstage at the Biddeford City Theater (you may know her by the accidentally neon scrunchie). She has been singing with Mary since 2020, and is so excited to have grown so much as a singer during that time, especially in terms of battling performance anxiety. Outside of theater, Anna can be found working at the University of Southern Maine’s Franco-American Collection, volunteering as a docent at Maine’s First Ship, and dancing with Josephina and the Nutrit Dancers of Belly Dance with Josephina in Bath.
